Use trackers to increase utorrent download speed
2:46 PM
Torrents are becoming increasingly popular and have become our daily routine to download the latest movies for free. Most of you are still using the default settings on your torrent downloader which gives you less download speed and also lessens your browsing speed.
In my opinion use utorrent to download because the option for bandwidth allocation and updating trackers makes a lot of difference. To increase your torrent speed to 300 % here are some tips other than the ones which are already given by torrentfreak.com .
Use Trackers :
Step 1 :
- Go to torrentz.com for searching a torrent.
- Type your search term and choose the torrent with the highest number of seeders.
- Now click on any of the sites to download the torrent.

- Click the link that says "µTorrent compatible list here".

- Now copy all the trackers by pressing ctrl +c.

Step 2 :
- When the torrent starts downloading in utorrent. Right click on the torrent and click properties.

- Now paste the trackers you copied in the trackers list. ( Don't remove the existing trackers )
- Also set your upload speed to 3-5 kbps to have maximum download speed. Not 1 kbps .. strangely that decreases your download speed.
- Press OK and see the change.
Open an elevated command prompt ( Open start- in the search bar type "cmd" - Right click cmd and click " Run as administrator " ) to run the command.
netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=highlyrestrictedThis will set the TCP Auto Tuning feature to highly restricted, which will allow the TCP/IP window to grow beyond the default value, and will instruct Vista to use RWIN of 16,384 bytes with a scale factor of 2 that is
"16384 x 2 x 2=64K bytes ", with a maximum size of 262,140 bytes.
