This ingenious crack will immediately activate all x86 versions of Windows Vista in quite literally one click. What makes it even better is that Microsoft will detect your windows to be geniune, despite having it cracked. I've used it myself on Windows Vista Ultimate - 32 bit, and its works absolutely fine. 1 year used, but no problems whatsoever.

Instructions:
1) Install x86 Vista (any version you like), but DO NOT enter a product key / serial.
2) Install this crack.
3) Run this crack and wait for about 5 minutes.
4) Your computer will automatically restart, and your windows will be activated.
5) Open system properties from "Computer" and scroll down.
6) For 15 seconds or so, it will say that activation info is not available.
7) Then, it will say that windows is activated.
8) El Presto!!!! You have activated Vista successfully, and have solid proof for it!

This is something everyone using the windows 7 beta versions should know. Eventhough you have activated windows 7 beta with the legit keys Microsoft gave out, sadly it still has an expiry date (1st of July 2009). This is where the Orbit30 tool comes into play. MAKE SURE YOU RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR! (Right click and Run as Administrator) NOTE: For 32-bit versions only!!

Here is something you will like. Its the Windows 7 Plus Patch V6 by Orbit30, it can do a number of things, you can see what it does in the picture above, whats most important is the TimerNuke which disables the expiry date.

If you get really annoyed with the “Send Feedback” links found in every window, here is how to get rid of them with a nice little reg hack.

1. Run Registry Editor (RegEdit)
2. navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop
3. Add in a new DWORD (32-bit) Value named FeedbackToolEnabled, and then set its value data as 0. Log off and log on again for the change to take effect.

Alternatively if you dont want to manually fiddle with your registry, download the following file, extract it, and run the reg file inside, a prompt will appear, click allow, once complete log off and log on again.

In addition, Windows Flip 3D enables users to flip through a cascading stack of their open windows using the mouse scroll wheel. Due to some virus attack in your system. After cleaning the virus also, you may face this problem
Solution:

Remove Icon Background color in XP

Icon Background color in XP

This post explains how to remove icon background color in XP and make the icon background color with desktop as transparent. By default Windows XP theme comes with transparent icon background color as below,

But when you do some changes in Windows theme or appearing settings, this transparent color setting easily goes and desktop icons get their original background color of desktop which configured in ‘Advanced Appearance’ settings. Displaying desktop background color in icons may be looks ugly on your desktop, as below,

To change the desktop background color in XP, follow the steps;
Right click on empty space on desktop, go to Properties -> Appearance tab -> Click on Advanced button, select Desktop under Items and choose the color in ‘color1′. But still you can’t remove icon background color under this appearance settings tab.
To remove icon color in XP and make the desktop color transparent use ‘ Drop shadow’ option in ‘Performance Options’. Follow the below steps,

Right click on My Computer and go to Properties, or go to ‘System’ in control panel. Then Advances tab and settings button under performance square.

Under ‘ Visual Effects’ options go to the last options. Make sure tick is there or put a tick on ‘ Use drop shadows for icon………’ options as shown below. Press OK to apply the settings.

Now no matter what desktop color is selected, but your XP icon background color will be removed and it will be transparent with desktop as below

Enable ping in XP

Enable ping (ICMP request or Echo request) in XP
Some times when firewall is on (by default it’s on) XP computer, you can’t ping to that computer, which means you will get ‘Request Time Out’ reply when you ping to the destination. But it will be accessing network shares over the network.
Ping request normally works as its sending ICMP packets to the destination computer and receiving ICMP packets reply. When destination computer is not acknowledging or replying for these packets you will be seeing ‘Request time out’ reply.

IE8 Hangs and Crashes

PC slows down when open Internet Explorer 8

Reasons:
Till patches are being update you may face these problems in IE8.
IE8 consumes more memory in your computer, each opened tabs work as individual IE8.

Solution:
1) To avoid IE8 hangs and crashes, make sure once you upgraded to IE8 from previous IE, it works fine initially itself. If it doesn’t uninstall and reinstall IE8 till it works fine.

2) Install the latest IE8 add-ons and patches for any third party software which work with IE, such as skype, Google tool bar..etc. click this link

3) you can use the reset button in IE8 which help you lot to come out from IE8 problems. Because once IE8 started hangs, by re-starting IE8 or re-starting your computer will not help to solve the issue. To use IE8 reset button,

Go to ‘Tools’ in IE8 > Internet Options > Advanced > Click ‘Reset’ button.

By resetting Internet Explorer settings, you return it to the state it was in when it was first installed on your computer. This is useful for troubleshooting problems that might be caused by settings that were changed after installation. To avoid memory consumption, better do not open lots of tabs inside IE8, or better to stay with older IE versions or other browsers.

Network stopped when you enable Internet Sharing
Reason :

Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) assigns seperate IP address automatically when you enable ICS. This causes Internet Sharing Problem in XP
Solution:

Sharing Dial up Internet connection in Windows XP and solving Internet Sharing Problem in XP is simple if you understand some basic facts.

Before you start the internet sharing, make sure your Local Area Network (LAN) is working fine and all computers are communicating each. Follow the below steps,
1) Right click on the dial up connection you want to share in your network, select properties..

2) Select ‘ Advanced’ tab.
3) Under ‘Internet Connection Sharing’. select Allow other….. check box mentioned below, this will allow other computers to connect internet through this computer and other check boxes below will be enabled. also you will get a message if you don’t save dial up user name and password for all users.
Internet Sharing Problem in XP

4) If you want other users to connect internet even if this connection is not connected to internet, then you can select the second check box ‘ Establish a dial up…..’. This will enable automatic dialing when ever a computer attempts to connect internet, so in this case, you have save the dial up user name and password for all users.

Also if you want other users to control the specific internet connection you can select third box ‘ Allow other network users to …….’.

5) Once you click OK button, you will get one more message as below,

Only you can access by typing drive name in address bar or Run dialog box
Reason :

Due to some virus attack in your system. After cleaning the virus also, you may face this problem
Solution:

If you can access drive somehow by exploring or typing the drive letter in address bar, then look for a hidden file called ‘ autorun.inf’. Delete this file which was created by virus. Now try to Open the drive.

If above method doesn’t work, try this…

There are some steps you can do manually for fix this issue but it may end up with some other problems. So I recommend using this free tool to fix this issue and some more issues occur by virus.

XP Booting is Slow

XP booting is slow

XP taking long time for startup

After you installed some programs, now your computer is very slow to boot
Reason :

When ever you install a program/software in your system, it installs additional services and programs in startup. There for when your computer starts up, these all programs and services will take time to load, so your computer also will be slow during booting.
Solution:

Remove the programs which are not required during startup such as chatting, multimedia, system tools software in XP startup. You do not need to uninstall these programs from computer, just remove from startup by following two methods.
You can get an idea about which are programs starting up and running in your computer by looking at ’Notification area’ in task bar. If you can see lot of programs as below, then obviously your system will be slow.

Method 1 : Remove through Start Menu.

Click on Start Button > All Programs > Startup.

If you see any programs inside startup which are not required, you can just Right click on them and delete. This will not delete or uninstall these programs from computer, but will solve your XP Booting is slow problem.
Method 2 : Advanced method through System Utility Configuration.

Click on Start Button > Run, type ‘ msconfig ‘. It will open System Utility Configuration. Go to ‘ Startup ‘ and remove the programs from startup. Do not remove some of important programs such as Anti Virus,Anti spyware or some device drivers programs, which may end up with system problem, also do not change any settings in other tabs. You have to restart your computer to take these settings effect.

Next time your XP computer will boot much faster.
